Make sure that you have all of the right equipment as well. Obviously you will need some swimming gear, but more importantly you will need to make sure you get a comfortable set of running shoes so that you can compete properly in the running section and also a racing bike for the racing section.

This is going to be sufficient time for you to train properly, assuming you are already at a relatively high level of fitness. If you are not fit at all then you will need to give yourself much more time if you want to compete properly.
