So you want to begin working out on a punching bag! Excellent decision because even a basic punching bag workout can aid you lose a lot of weight and gain a ton of striking power. While working out with the bag could greatly help you lose weight, a special type of traning will aid you lose it more quicker.

Utilizing punching bag training to lose weight After spending so much time with full contact training, I have realized that when you work on the punching bag for extended periods of time at a medium pace, it is effective in burning some calories. And throughout your training give in a few sets of fast continuous punches to heighten your heart rate level.

The change in pace, continuously in a 15 minute work out session, is what aids you lose weight immediately on the punching bag. The advantage of this is, not only do you lose weight quicker, but also learn to strike that might save your life one day. So these workouts and the time spent on the punching bag mean greatly.

So what are the basic exercises that you may do for weight loss?

Start with some right crosses( back hand punch) and light jabs while simultaneously moving around the bag. These leg movements would burn off calories fast so it's imperative to keep moving.Carry on for 5 minutes.

If your heart rate raise a bit, add a 30 second burst of punches as quickly as you may. You should stand still for this drill. This will make your heart rate peaking.

You could add in some basic straight front ball kicks or a basic round house kick to give your legs more exercise. Repeat this drill for 6-12 sessions total and you would be able to identify the results within a day or two of this training - it works wonders.

When you are feeling energetic, you could add in some jogging between sets to increase the burn.

What you gained from it secretly.. One specific thing you will recognize after doing this exercise for 30 days or more is your arm and punching speed will definitely improve.

The changes can be very exhilarating! The change in arm speed is just the beginning your knuckles will also harden and you will experience how to properly hold your fist while punching. That comes with experience!
